This 5th Century, five-storey cave-temple, near the city of Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh is a precursor to Pallava and Pandya stone monuments, such as those at Kalugumalai and Mamallapuram. It is particularly famous for the monumental carving of Vishnu Narayana, which is tucked inside a small, besopoke cave inside the Undavalli complex.
